ABOUT PETERBALD BUDDIES
Peterbald-Buddies Cattery in Arizona is a small family-owned cattery. We offer nothing but the highest quality
Peterbald kittens for sale,
Peterbald cat, and peterbald kittens with over 21 years of breeding and CFA cat show experience. We also have retired adults and older kittens available for adoption on occasion. Our cats live in our home as spoiled pets, and our kittens are raised with an abundance of love and care. We strive to establish long-term relationships with our kitten purchasers. We provide lifetime breeder support via phone calls, emails, our website page, and information on this website's blog. For us, Peterbald-Buddies is more than a hobby; it is a way of life. We work as hard as we can.
Like many great things, Peterbald-Cuddles was founded on an ambitious idea. The idea centered around our desire to create a Peterbald solely designed to excel as a family cat. A Peterbald cat designed to fix the many issues that currently plague the breed today. This Peterbald would excel in functionality as much as beauty. The health of the Peterbald would be valued and prioritized first and foremost before any other consideration. We would fight to improve the breed, correcting the many poor decisions uneducated breeders have made over the years that have weakened the breed as a whole. Being a family cat, the Peterbald would not only need to be healthy, its personality would also need to be loving and friendly being the absolute joy of the entire family. This founding idea, to create a healthy, functional, and loving Peterbald cat has guided and driven every decision we have ever made with our breeding program and quite possibly is the best way to describe what a Peterbald-Buddies really is and what makes us different from your average Peterbald.

PERSONALITY
Peterbalds are affectionate and sweet little cats. They are known for their dog-like loyalty to their favorite humans and will often follow you around the house to be as close to you as possible. Their active and curious nature is balanced by their peaceful and docile demeanor, making them ideal for households with children and other pets.
The Peterbald is an excellent family pet because it is so active and playful, and it craves interaction with its family. Playtime with children or other pets, on the other hand, should be supervised because the cat's lack of fur makes it vulnerable to injury.
HISTORY
Olga S. Mironova experimented with breeding a male Don Sphynx (Donskoy) and a female Oriental Shorthair in 1994. Peterbald kittens were born in the first two litters. These four kittens are regarded as the breed's forefathers.
Peterbalds can have several different coat types, ranging from completely bald to a regular short coat. One coat type even changes several times throughout the cat's life. The breed is in high demand, at least among people who know about it. Yet, it remains rather rare.
APPEARANCE
The naked or bald Peterbald is available in five coat types:Bald, chamois, flock, brush, and straight. All can be any color and pattern combination.
Naked Peterbalds have no hair. Their skin is warm and soft, with a sticky, elastic feel to it. Chamois cats have a very soft peach fuzz texture. The coats of flock cats are fine and velvety. Brush coat Peterbalds have sparse, wiry hair. Straight coats have normal, short coats that do not change over time..

We specialize in Bald or hairless, flocks, and velour peterbald cat.
Typically, we have 6-9 litters per year. Each queen is limited to 1-2 litters per year to protect their health. It is important to me to keep it low, so that I may get to know, love and kiss each baby daily, before they are ready to go to their forever homes.
Quality bred peterbald cat ain't cheap. There is no set price on our kittens. Because each kitten is unique, we price on an individual basis while considering coat color, coat appeal, body structure etc. Generally speaking, our prices range from $2000 to $4000 for kittens as pets.
I prefer email contact so that all communication has a written record of what is said and agreed upon. It eliminates any confusion about the Buyer/Seller expectations and responsibilities...Thanks
Yes. We ship kittens on any airline that keeps animals in a climate-controlled environment at all times. Kittens are expected to arrive the same day they are shipped. On Friday mornings, we usually ship kittens. Kittens usually arrive the same day, between early afternoon and late evening. We will make a schedule for you. You will not need to bring a carrier because your kitten will arrive in one. You must present identification at the time of pick-up from the airline.
Yes, it is really nice for the kitten to have company. We have sold many kittens in pairs.
It takes time to entertain a kitten. Trying to keep one kitten occupied, stimulated, happy and safe while still going about the business of everyday life is practically impossible. A pair of kittens will still interact and bond with you but will keep each other occupied while you are busy with your everyday tasks.
Typically Yes!! but only by an Appointment or Pick up purpose after Reservation or payment have been made. We live here also and keeping my family safe is my #1 priority.
TESTIMONAILS / REVIEWS
Bottom line - it's scary purchasing a puppy from a person you may never officially meet. On this page, you will find references from past owners and even some from new owners. Hopefully, this will put your mind at comfort as you continue joining the "Peterbald-Buddies" family.

I'm writing to express how pleased we are with the purchase of our Peterbald from Peterbald-Buddies.
He is a happy, healthy little guy who has received a clean bill of health from our veterinarian in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. The entire experience was excellent, and we would strongly recommend purchasing from this breeder. They were also a lovely family, and we had a great time meeting them.

Kerbie moved into his new home and met our Dachshund "Adler," with whom he has been inseparable ever since. Kerbie enjoys squeaky toys, walks, running around the yard, and cuddling. He is very friendly to humans and other animals, and he is full of life and energy. He's been the ideal addition to our family!

I had the best experience with the breeders on this Peterbald-Buddies website.... I finally got my Peterbald puppy of my dreams... She is the most adorable Peterbald cat, and I am overjoyed to be her fur mama. The breeders were friendly and professional, and they called to see how Kacie was doing.
